Sunday at the Dyke

A strange day really, all week we had been looking at the forecast, it was very good for February, but for me I have to take Robert to his rugby on Sundays so the day was punctuated with lots of driving. I missed the best part of the day and had short flights near the hill but in the end it was just great to be flying again.

I was nervous before my flights, too nervous to bother with my cameras. I was worried about my landings in the winds we had and also from flying my new harness for the first time. In the end however it was all fine. My flights were smooth and landings all under control I had nothing to worry about at all.

Someone did break their arm in the bottom field, it was a little disconcerting to see the ambulances in attendance, even more upsetting to hear the stories about the nature of his injuries. I do wish Andrew a speedy recovery.
